We had a fantastic day on Monday when we were joined in school by GB international diver James Denny. James is a local athlete living and training in Leeds. He supported children from years 1-6 joining in with our fundraising fitness circuit, there were a lot of red faced sweaty children after they had completed all their exercises. There was also some fantastic encouragement from the sidelines whilst children were waiting for their turn or having a breather after they had completed the activities.
The children then had chance to hear James's inspiring story in an assembly and he showed off some of his skills in an imaginary pool with 10m platform.
Please remember that all sponsor money needs to be in school by Monday 3rd October, following this, children will be issued with their wrist bands and posters once we receive them from Sports for Schools.
